1. Acceptance of Terms

By installing or using Convertosaur, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. Description of Service

Convertosaur is a browser extension that converts web pages into ebook formats (EPUB, PDF, AZW3). The service offers a Free plan and a paid Pro plan. Both plans include all features: local downloads, Google Drive sync, and email delivery. Plans differ only in the weekly conversion limit.

2a. Paid Subscriptions & Billing

Convertosaur offers a Pro plan at $6.99 per month or $58.80 per year ($4.90/month). Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Payment is processed through a third-party payment provider. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges to your chosen payment method. Pricing may change with 30 days' notice.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree to use Convertosaur only to:

• Convert publicly accessible web pages for personal use.
• Create ebook copies of content you have the right to access.

You agree not to:

• Use the service to infringe on copyrights or intellectual property rights.
• Redistribute converted content commercially without permission from the original author.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, overload, or disrupt the service.
• Use automated tools to make bulk conversion requests.

4. Accounts & Authentication

Some features require signing in with a Google account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. We are not liable for unauthorized access resulting from your failure to protect your credentials.

5. Intellectual Property

Convertosaur does not claim ownership of any content you convert. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to convert and store the content you process through the service. The Convertosaur name, logo, and software are our intellectual property.

6. Limitation of Liability

Convertosaur is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to data loss, service interruptions, or conversion errors.

7. Service Availability

We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance, updates, or modifications that temporarily affect availability. We will provide reasonable notice for planned downtime.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may stop using Convertosaur at any time by uninstalling the extension. If you have an active Pro subscription, see section 8a for cancellation details.

8a. Cancellation & Refunds

You may cancel your Pro subscription at any time. Upon cancellation, you will retain Pro benefits until the end of your current billing period, after which your account will revert to the Free plan. No partial refunds are provided for unused portions of a billing period. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us within 14 days of the charge for a review.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated via the extension or email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
