01 Data we collect

• Page content: When you convert a page, the extension captures the page content and sends it to our servers for processing. We do not store page content after conversion is complete.
• Account data: If you sign in via Google SSO, we receive and store your email address, name, and profile picture to manage your account and display your identity within the service.
• Usage data: We collect aggregated conversion counts to enforce quotas and improve the service. Each task record retains the source URL, status, and timestamp tied to your account so you can retry failed conversions; we do not build a separate reading-history log.
• Analytics preference: On our website and dashboard, we store your analytics choice in first-party browser storage so we can remember whether you accepted PostHog analytics or chose essential-only storage.

02 Google SSO authentication

Convertosaur uses Google Single Sign-On (SSO) as the sole authentication method. When you sign in, Google provides us with your name, email address, and profile picture. We do not receive or store your Google password. Your Google account credentials remain entirely with Google. We use this information only to create and manage your Convertosaur account.

03Pro tier & billing data

If you subscribe to the Pro plan, payment is handled by a third-party payment processor. We do not store your credit card number or full payment details. We retain your billing email address, subscription status, and plan type to manage your account. Conversion usage metrics (counts per billing period) are tracked to enforce plan limits. This data is retained for the duration of your subscription and deleted upon account deletion.

04Analytics, reliability & processors

We use a small set of service providers to run Convertosaur: PostHog for optional product analytics, Sentry for reliability and error reporting, Paddle for billing, Google for SSO and Drive connection, and AWS for hosting and delivery. These providers process data for Convertosaur; we do not sell your data or use it for advertising.

PostHog analytics starts opted out by default in the browser. If you accept analytics, we may send page views, product events, and your signed-in account identifier on the dashboard. If you choose essential-only storage, we keep PostHog opted out of analytics capture, browser persistence, and identified analytics.

05 Data we do not collect

• We do not track your browsing history.
• We do not sell your data.
• We do not use your data for advertising.
• We do not retain converted page content after processing.

06 Google Drive integration

If you enable Google Drive sync, we request permission to create and manage files in a dedicated Convertosaur folder in your Drive. We do not access any other files in your Drive account.

07 Email delivery

If you configure email delivery, we store your delivery email address to send converted files. We do not use this address for marketing or any other purpose.

08Data storage & security

Your data is stored securely on AWS infrastructure. All data in transit is encrypted via TLS. Page content is temporarily stored during processing, and converted files are retained for up to 30 days for download and delivery before deletion.

09 Your rights

You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us at support@convertosaur.com. You can also uninstall the extension at any time to stop all data collection.

You can change website and dashboard analytics preferences at any time from the Privacy choices control in the footer or dashboard settings.

10 Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes via the extension or email. Continued use of Convertosaur after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
